“I took the 50 Minute Factor class here with Joanna last week and I loved it. It was extremely convenient from my house and parking was easy. Joanna is so personable and outgoing and it made it easy to adjust to the environment and style of the class. It was my first time using kettlebells, and Joanna had great tips on how to improve my posture and movement while swinging the kettlebells.

I am apart of classpass (highly recommend) and I have attended the maximum three classes here through that program. And I must say this is one of my favorite studios! Yes it is very small but they have lots of equipment, class variety, and instructors.
I have taken two classes with Jamal called the 50 min fit factor! These were the best!! He is tough but motivating and very fun. It is strength based. The class works with a few circuits then about 5 min on treadmill and repeat. It hits all the areas abs, legs, arms, butt. You will feel it the next day!! He has some awesome music going to the tempo of the workout. If you want sweat and full body intense workout then do this!! You won’t regret and you will feel like you did your best just by attending the class. I recommend wearing tight leggings that cover the knees as you will be on the floor (mat) at times! And also bring water and towel if you are a heavy sweat-er.
I have also taken the barre class with Joanna. Not as much my favorite but just because I’m not a barre person as I’ve found out!
I am looking into getting a full unlimited membership here now!”

“As someone who doesn’t naturally “love” working out, Danielle and Jamal make it feel less torturous… even though it’s definitely torture some days! I can’t spontaneously go to the gym, so scheduling the classes ahead of time is super convenient. After sitting in front of a computer for 9 hours a day at work, I just need someone who can make exercise fun and make me do it! Honestly, I almost threw up during the first class and now that I’ve been coming here for about 7 months, I can feel a real difference. Hooray for The Fit Factor!”

“As part of my ClassPass membership I was able to try the Fight Club 2.0 class with Jamal this morning. I have to say that this is one of my favorites that I have done with ClassPass. So much so that I will likely buy a class package after I am done with ClassPass.
The studio is in Alhambra on Main St. There was plenty of parking on the surrounding streets on Sunday morning. When I arrived I was greeted by Jamal and got a quick little tour of the studio. It was a really clean and nice studio.
The class was built around different stations. We worked on different punches, got some treadmill work in, and some abs. It was a total body workout. What I really liked was that everyone got individual attention while still being part of the group.
I would recommend this class to everyone. I have not tried the other classes yet but will be sure to update when I do.”

” I have been going to The Fit Factor Studio for 3 weeks now and I Absolutely Love it!!!! I have noticed a difference in my body already. I got a Locbox deal which was 6 classes for $39 and the I purchased the Introductory classes for $99 for one month. My favorite must attend classes are 50 Minute Fit Factor with Sherry and Boxing with Jamal! I haven’t missed one of their classes since I started. They are great instructors with fun and good classes! I took a Barre class with Amy and that was good but I’m more about the high intensity and cardio. I am looking forward to taking the Barre class with Joanna though. The studio is nice and well kept and Joanna and Jennifer are very responsive and help in any way possible. I am much more motivated to work out and the workouts are fun, hard, and I look forward to going to class. I am so glad I signed up with The Fit Factor and recommend everyone to try it out!!!!”

“You want results? SHOW UP!
I’m a new member to this studio and so far so good! The studio is cute with an inspiring message in front of every treadmill. I try to park myself in front of the “you’re sexy” one as much as possible ;).
Barre- I have taken this class twice now. The first time I wasn’t so sure. It wasn’t Joanna that was doing a poor job, it’s that I wasn’t using enough weight. It was a little surprising. I tried the class again with Yulia and it brought me back to my memories of dancing. I was so caught up in the moment that the class just flew by. I highly recommend this class for recovering from fit factor or fight club. I was so sore and when I left I was stretched and relaxed.
Fit factor- pretty good class. It varies by instructor. I like that we switch from treadmill to floor work and weights. This approach keeps me motivated. The whole time you just have to concentrate on pushing yourself a little bit further. Grunt away!
Fight club- I’ve only taken this once. Wholly moley was I sore for days after!!!! Jamal is such a nice instructor, but oh, he’ll make you work. Since I was new and a little clueless he modified a couple routines for me. I appreciate that. He’s paying attention to my needs as a student. I highly recommend this class! Do not be intimidated! You’ll get a great work out.
What I love about this gym is that you don’t need to feel intimidated. Everyone is grunting and moaning! Everyone is sweating their face off and getting vulnerable so they can be stronger and look sexier. Try the $100 first month special. You won’t regret it.
**update**My one month has come to an end today. Wahhhh! I’ve seen a difference in my body. My face has slimmed down, my shoulders are more defined, and my overall strength has improved. I wish I could afford to come whenever I wanted to. Here was my preference for instructors for each class:
Fight club- Jamal
Although I have taken other instructors and enjoyed(and felt satisfied from) all of my workouts, these were just the best instructors for me. I felt the most accomplished with them. The variety of instructors here will allow you to reach your highest potential.”

“Let me give you my background. I work 32-40 hours a week and I have 3 young children. Working out has always been on my mind, but I never found the time.
My youngest turned two. I can’t blame the baby on my weight gain anymore. Finally decided to try the fit factor. I don’t even own a pair of workout shoes so I decided to try a free no holds barre class (no shoes needed). I died. In the middle of the class, I couldn’t move, my body gave out, but Joanna kept on encouraging me and gave me a snack since my blood sugar dropped.
Decided to try it again, using the yelp deal (by the way, you will have to call fit factor to get it activated, can’t do it on the website). I’m 4 classes in now and each time, I know my body is changing because I’m so sore (but a good sore).
Each 50 minutes is so tailored that your workouts are maximized. All the time I spent at 24 hour fitness doesn’t compare to the intense, but fun workouts I do here. Highly recommend!! Thanks fit factor!”

“I’ve been a member of Fit Factor since September and have loved it ever since. I’ve been to many bootcamps but I found that Fit Factor is the best one yet. You get semi personalized training, great instructors, an awesome workout, motivation to keep going, fun music, nice equipment and so much energy. I usually mix up my workouts with 50 minute factor and Fight Club and Body Barre when there are openings. Joanna and Jamal are so great and I can’t thank them enough for all the motivation they have given me. They are so energetic and make workouts fun! Jennifer, the studio manager is also really sweet and has been so understanding wih everything. My husband and I love the classes at Fit Factor. At first I was losing weight but then I got pregnant and took a little break. Now that I’m in my second trimester, I am continuing my workouts there and feel greater than ever. Right now, I’m going to not lose weight but to be fit and healthy throughout the pregnancy. My husband has been toning up and I’ve noticed my fellow Fit Fanatic team mates have been trimming down and looking great. Since I had to cut out caffeine, the workouts in the morning really keep me going throughout the days and week.
So no excuses! If I can do it, anyone can. Im pregnant, work 5-6 days a week and still make time to go. You owe it to yourself!! You have to be motivated and want it.

“I’ve only been there today, my first class. It was brutal. He mainly focused on ass, legs, and abs which is probably areas that are most neglected.
Recaps:-Clean, and new equipment- Friendly trainer, if you’re doing good he sees that he calls out, “Nice job Joe!” and when you’re dying he leaves you alone.- One size fits all, it’s six pounds ball for everybody. So if that was too heavy for you, you’re done. But it’ll never be too light for you because you’re be using that for like 59 reps so you’ll feel it. – My friend told me there’s a boxing class also. So there’re probably other classes to meet your need.- Easy parking at 12pm noon time. – Great location, it’s right in “Downtown” Alhambra on Main street so it has a nice vibe and plenty of places to eat after. You’ll probably end up going to “Love Bird” other places are too heavy.
In the middle of the workout I wonder why I don’t work out more. I mean it feels good. I go into this deep mediation stage and God within you comes out, you zone out and all the stress and trouble around you disappeared. How you like that? So if you’re stress and want to have a big picture of things, work out! My sister who’s a nurse told me, it’s a bit exaggerated but there’s some truth to it,

A very cozy studio. Always clean and is located in a super convenient area of Alhambra. Everything is arranged through the website, super easy to use.
I love Fight Club 2.0 and I love Jamal!Jamal is a great boxing trainer, very warm and motivating. I don’t do well with trainers that push you with yelling or critiquing. Yes, I recognize that I may be a little spoiled. Jamal will push you but in the most gentle way.
The studio is always offering some type of deal, so find one and check them out.”

“The fit factor is awesome! It will kick your butt and then reshape and mold to buns of steel. I’ve taken both barre and fit factor classes. Barre is definately slower going but I think I was more sore from those classes. I was sore in muscles where I didn’t think I’ve ever been sore before. Especially the back of the thighs and gluts area. Fit Factor are exercises going between the tread mill and floor work. I did not know you could that make exercises on the tread mill. For both classes they are always surprising us with new and beautiful torture.
I like that the class sizes are small and the instructors are very attentive and motivating. Sign up is a breeze since it’s all on line. Plenty of classes offered. The only minus for me is that it’s out of my price range. I’d definitely come back.”
